A couple weeks ago I asked on my Facebook page if anyone would be interested in a giveaway of gently used books. There was an overwhelmingly positive response to this – and I’m so glad!
You see, we have used some great books this past year to learn about countries and art and I would love to pass them on to some fellow families!
So – I have created three Rafflecopter giveaways below. Feel free to enter one or all of them -you have a chance to win all three (it’s a slim chance – but a chance nonetheless).
Like I said, these have been used by our family but they are in great condition.
- Make sure you enter your current email address so you can be notified if you win.
- The giveaways end Monday, March 3rd (US time).
- Winners will have 48 hours to reply with their mailing address.
1st Book: Japan by Kaleidoscope Kids
We used this book in our Children Around The World: Japan study. This book, along with some websites and printable pages were all we really needed to learn all about Japan. The book has crafts, recipes, activities, and more!
2nd Book: 30 Hideous and Hilarious New Zealand Historical Stories
This is a rare find! I didn’t realize how hard this book was to get a hold of. I just happened to buy it for a few bucks used on Amazon after seeing it recommended by Chelle over at Last in Line (she has a fantastic list of books to study New Zealand). Now, it seems that the only copy I can find is $50! We read these fun historical stories while Denna was fascinated about New Zealand. a Rafflecopter giveaway
3rd Book: Illustrated Timeline of Art History
This book is small, but it is packed with full-color art, architecture layouts, and information on art throughout history. Starting with the Chinese cave paintings and running through photo and video-based art in the late 1990’s, this timeline is perfect for any budding artist.
