I’ve come to the conclusion, after years of moving and meeting hundreds of other homeschool families, that each family has a strong emphasis on certain skills and topics in their educational adventures.
Depending on the interests of the kids and parents, families tend to focus on some areas more than others. I know families that are very musical (like everyone plays an instrument), or do a lot of high-level science together.
Our homeschool has always focused heavily on the arts. Both of the girls delight in drawing, painting, sculpting, and paper crafts.
Watercolors are our favorite medium, but since the movers refused to ship our paints to Korea (naughty movers), I had been looking for a new technique for us to try.
