I am so excited to share what we have been collecting and researching for the past few months!
I have mentioned before that Raven chose the Civil War as our topic of study over the summer months. Well, we decided to focus on how the Civil War specifically played out in our state- Kansas.
So we have decided to name our study:
Blood on the Border
The Civil War comes to Kansas Territory
During the next few months, I will be sharing our lessons, resources, and other goodies with you and collecting it all into a downloadable unit study!
To get things started with a bang, I have decided to share the notebooking pack I created.

This set of notebooking pages covers topics and people that pertain to the history of the Civil War in Kansas that you won’t find in regular textbooks!

There are 40 pages, including some basic blank pages at the end that you can use for any topic.
Many of the pages fit right with the free resources I have found and will share in our unit study.
Please click the button below to go to the download page for this notebooking pack!
To download over at Google Documents you click file -> download.
Be on the lookout next week when I share the first topic in our study!
