My kids love all those prepackaged granola and energy bars you get at the store. They are also in love with fruit snacks. But those things are so full of sugar and preservatives that I always cringe when I purchase them.
The healthier brands we can get at HyVee are so expensive (like $1.50-$3 per bar) that I only buy them on special occasions- like when we have a lot of money.
I especially love Larabar brand because they have fruity flavors like cherry and lemon. I can’t handle a lot of chocolate or peanut butter- they are too rich for my stomach.
So when I saw a post listing a bunch of recipes to make your own version of Larabars, I knew I wanted to try them out!
